Book of poetry to support imprisoned G-20 protestor and Fifth Estate contributer
Kelly
Pflug-Back of Toronto, a collective member and writer for Fifth Estate magazine, has been jailed for up to 11 months (Possibly more? Clarification welcome) for actions
she pled guilty to which occurred at the 2010 G-20 meeting. Pflug-Back has two articles in Fifth Estate's Summer edition; one on how primitive people
dealt with those with disabilities, and the other on police violence
towards women. She is a poet and has recently released her first book of poetry, These Burning Streets.
Combustion Books is distributing These Burning Streets for $8, with all but postage and printing costs going directly to Kelly. AK Press has agreed to carry the book under the same fundraising terms as well.

Somewhere, a revolution is happening
that will never be broadcast.
Somewhere, the sun rises on a world
no longer drawn as if by some hand
enamoured
of human pain.
